Kindergarten Class

This class is geared toward preparing the child to enter a larger classroom environment of all-day Kindergarten or First Grade.  Class sizes are limited so that children receive more individual instruction.  The class is structured in such a way to help the child gain the skills and confidence needed for a good self-image and independence.  Reading readiness, improving handwriting skills, and number concepts are stressed.  Children will experience the world around them with hands on activities, guest speakers, and field trips.  Children must be completely potty trained and able to independently take care of all restroom needs.  Wednesday extended day can be added to this class.  The children bring a sack lunch from home and Beginning Spanish lead by Ms. Erin Chausse.  Kindergarten meets Monday through Friday.
