Jennifer Coulter - Director

Mrs. Jennifer is the current Director of the Kindergarten and Preschool. She has been a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1990, joining the staff of this wonderful and meaningful ministry in 2001.  She earned a business degree in 1984 and is a Certified Montessori Instructor who spent eleven years teaching on the elementary level before accepting her current position.  Upon becoming Director she earned the proper qualifications through MSDH and was issued a license through the MDHS OCY as a Credentialed Director in Early Childhood  Education.  "When approached to take the job as Director of the Kindergarten and Preschool at my  own church, I was over the moon with joy!  What an exciting and fabulous way to combine three things I love: God, teaching children, and business.  I can't help but feel that this is the place God had in mind for me all along, his unwavering insight into my life is seen on a day to day basis as the staff and I continue to work hard in building a stellar reputation in the field of early childhood education.   By placing God first in our classrooms we are able to open up a child's mind to God's world of numbers, letters, shapes, colors, nature and so much more.  Our philosophy is that these children in turn go out into our community and spread the Fruits of the Spirit to everyone they touch,  Galatians 5:22.  My hope and prayer for all of the children that pass through this program is that they learn not only to write, read, run, cut, glue, share, zip their coat and create materpieces but to know they have been raised up in Christ and that they will continue to seek the things above!"
